Audience Member This had some clever humor in it. I'm sure the misandry was off-putting to many people. It did drag a bit. I really don't think men would ever let themselves become second class citizens, even in such a scenario. They would keep all of society's advances for themselves, by force if necessary. They are definitely not going to continue construction, engineering, defense technology and energy supply if they lose all political power. But, hey, the writers can dream. It was good for a few laughs. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 01/25/24 Full Review Audience Member It's an example of what a man thinks the world would be like if men became extinct. World wide menstrual cycle sync? Women discouraged to stop having sexual desire at all. Putting men in camps. Men being incapable of feeding themselves. Lack of scientific exploration because women don't want to leave the planet? Then I checked and yes, it's a film written by a man. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 02/19/23 Full Review Audience Member The movies came out before it's time. Brilliant movie. Shocked by the existing rating. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/03/23 Full Review Audience Member I think I dozed off twice from boredom watching this film. While the idea of a mockumentary about a manless world is a promising one, especially in a time charged with discussions about gender, No Men Beyond This Point is completely flat in its execution of the idea. It has some intelligent ideas, but it fails on the one count that matters most for a satire: it just isn't funny. Rated 1.5 out of 5 stars 02/11/23 Full Review Audience Member Considerando que é um filme com vibe de documentário fake, é até divertido. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 01/13/23 Full Review Audience Member I kept laughing throughout. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 01/17/23 Full Review Read all reviews Post a rating

Kate Taylor Globe and Mail The joke is belaboured and the larger point a bit unclear. Rated: 2.5/4 Apr 22, 2016 Full Review Peter Howell Toronto Star The scenario is airtight - faked archival footage is brilliant - but the story might have worked better as a thriller like Logan's Run or Children of Men. Rated: 2.5/4 Apr 21, 2016 Full Review C.J. Prince Way Too Indie Anyone who tries to tackle gender is bound to get into a sticky situation of some sort, and for the most part No Men Beyond This Point is enjoyable despite its issues. Rated: 6.5/10 May 22, 2019 Full Review Tom Charity Cinema Scope Sawers has fun teasing out the implications of such a scenario. Oct 11, 2017 Full Review Josef Braun Vue Weekly (Edmonton, Alberta) The gags, many of which come packaged with the premise, largely fall flat. For all the thought put into No Men, it still feels more like the makings of some solid sketch comedy than a feature film. Rated: 2/5 Apr 28, 2016 Full Review Susan G. Cole NOW Toronto With such a compelling premise, the film definitely keeps your interest and is at times very smart, but it just misses. Rated: 3/5 Apr 20, 2016 Full Review Read all reviews
