Namrata Joshi The New Indian Express A self-reflexive film on the besieged homeland, in which the personal is the political, No Other Land is a vital, urgent documentation of the human toll of conflict and a searing critique of war crimes and violence, state atrocities and authoritarianism. May 14, 2025 Full Review Tim Cogshell FilmWeek (LAist) A devastating film. Feb 11, 2025 Full Review Chase Hutchinson TheWrap For all the ways “No Other Land” is about the mechanized march of cruel repression and the coldly bureaucratic way these attempts at forced displacement take place, it’s critically always centered on the impact on the people themselves. Feb 8, 2025 Full Review Marcelo Paredes Cinencuentro Through its ideas, images, and tensions, this film becomes not only difficult to watch, but also impossible to ignore, especially today, when genocide has reached unbearable levels. [Full review in Spanish] Sep 4, 2025 Full Review Lola Rosario LatinaMedia.Co Palestinians’ unfathomable pain breaks my heart over and over again – and “No Other Land” tells their story with heartbreaking clarity. Sep 1, 2025 Full Review Shane Slater Film Actually In its sincere commitment to putting a human face to the well-known genocidal statistics, I can think of no film from 2024 as urgent, important and soul-stirring as "No Other Land." Sawyer D A must watch. Heartbreaking, real, beautifully done. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 08/09/25 Full Review Lena In my travels to the Holy Land, this brutal taking over of the Palestinian's land was always described to me. Seeing it actually happen is eye opening. What human beings can do to others while claiming it is "the law" is barbaric. Others have also said they were doing things because it was the law. It is clear, we have not learned anything from history. So sad for them. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 08/06/25 Full Review Joseph Davilo An accurate depiction of the Palestinian genocide. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 08/05/25 Full Review mfh Very powerful story that grips you from the first minute onward. Nice / touching moments of humanity between the two main characters Basel (Palestinian Muslim) and Yuval (Israeli Jew) — makes one realize that the world would be such a better place if we all just recognized the goodness and humanity in each other. Truly humbled to see the resilience of the Palestinians living day to day in such inhumane conditions but somehow finding the will to survive against all odds. A Must See!!! Rated 5 out of 5 stars 05/14/25 Full Review Helen No Other Land is a deeply powerful documentary—a must-watch for anyone seeking to understand the reality of life for a Palestinian family. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 05/03/25 Full Review Carol Nobody is free until the people in Massafer Yatta are free Rated 5 out of 5 stars 04/25/25 Full Review Read all reviews
