Audience Member Fantastic film! Mind blowing to actually see scientific research that details how babies start learning in the womb. Must see for all those that want to see how we can all be a part of teaching future generations... Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/22/23 Full Review Audience Member Mixed with some of the shocking information about how our society undervalues early childhood education and the life-long cost of missed opportunities are some inspiring bright spots around great teaching and great programs that change lives. The ripple effect of early childhood development becomes crystal clear in new ways! Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/25/23 Full Review Audience Member This is one of the most moving films I've seen. It shows the importance of early childhood education from all different angles. Whether you are a teacher, parent, legislator, or were a kid at some point in your life, this movie is a must-watch. Education is the key to changing the world and tackling systems of injustice. When you think about how much we learn in our first few years of life, it makes sense to start at the very beginning to make sure kids have a strong foundation. So why is early childhood education so overlooked and undervalued? Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/06/23 Full Review Audience Member Outstanding film! The subject matter is really important for all to ponder as we try to make this world better. Great work! Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/11/23 Full Review Read all reviews Post a rating

John DeFore Hollywood Reporter No Small Matter finds many persuasive ways to suggest America should reexamine its priorities. Jun 26, 2020 Full Review Courtney Howard Variety While it falls short of its promised mind-altering revelations, it does cast an interesting hook from a creative perspective, packaging its message in visually engaging ways. Jun 26, 2020 Full Review Marissa De La Cerda Chicago Reader Though a little cheesy at times, No Small Matter effectively makes the case for why America needs to be treating early childhood education as a bigger issue than it has been. Mar 24, 2020 Full Review Carla Hay Culture Mix No Small Matter is a good documentary that examines the issues and problems of educating pre-school age children in the United States. However, the documentary would have been much better if it also focused on realistic and attainable solutions.
