Kathy R This movie was absolutely terrible!! It's actually hard to say where to begin. It might be at the point when a court stenographer was typing on a Brother's label maker!!! (NOT KIDDING). Or was it when the prosecution had finished examining their witnesses during the trial of the really horrible drug dealer, and the defense attorney stood up and gave his OPENING STATEMENTS before calling his first witness???? I mean, really? Everyone with a basic understanding of the law knows that is not how it goes!!!! I do think the final straw for me came when there was such a loss of continuity in the scenes that I had no idea what was going on any longer and my husband and I looked at each other and started laughing out loud!! In one scene the defense attorney was picking up an eye witness. In the next scene, he was in front of the jury giving that opening statement I talked about before but then he gets a message that his family is safe. The next moment he gets a call saying/message to meet in the park where he discovers that a plan to take his family to safety has been foiled and his best friend is dead!!! WHAT THE HELL....As an audience we had no idea any of that was going on!! It was all news to us!! We were so confused and lost and this had HUGE implications on the main character; we definitely should have been kept abreast of the situation!!
