Julieta D Watched it with my grandma last night, we both enjoyed it very much. So nice to have a story of middle age romance, and what a gift Michelle Fairley has for intimacy and emotions, she conveyed so much with little words. I hope she gets offered more roles like this in the future! Rated 4 out of 5 stars 07/10/23 Full Review Read all reviews Post a rating

Kevin Maher Times (UK) Like an amnesiac thriller with the tension removed, this wistful, island-set melodrama has strong performances and the sly hypnotic power of a high-end meditation app. Rated: 3/5 Nov 3, 2023 Full Review Ryan Gilbey Guardian If this isn’t a film to set the heart racing, it doesn’t leave that organ entirely untroubled; with his script’s echoes of 40s weepie Random Harvest, Lanners is aiming for similar status. Rated: 3/5 Oct 31, 2023 Full Review David Stratton The Australian Its main strength is a palpable sense of place: the windswept island with mountains in the background is a vividly evocative setting (the film was shot on the islands of Lewis and Harris) for a story of isolation, loneliness and a kind of connection. Rated: 3.5/5 Apr 11, 2022 Full Review Victoria Luxford City AM The quiet nature of Nobody Has To Know may frustrate some, but if you like a bit of windswept yearning then it’s an hour and a half well spent. Rated: 3/5 Nov 23, 2023 Full Review Kevin Harley Radio Times Flashes of tender intimacy help lift the narrative, and Fairley and Lanners deliver grounding turns as the couple seizing a second chance at life. Rated: 3/5 Nov 17, 2023 Full Review Alistair Harkness Scotsman Old fashioned to a fault, the film is gently undramatic, but the performances are fine and those who prize scenery over storytelling will likely be in their element.
