Carlos Aguilar Variety Repeatedly drives home its point about the unifying force of a homecooked meal as an embodiment of community, and even as it overcrowds its narrative pot with too many unnecessary condiments that get lost in the mix, the result is ultimately palatable. May 12, 2025 Full Review Robert Levin Newsday You're not going to be planted at the edge of your seat here, but "Nonnas" has ample pleasures. Rated: 3/4 May 12, 2025 Full Review Adam Graham Detroit News "Nonnas" follows a familiar underdog formula and checks off story beats you can set your watch by. Rated: C May 12, 2025 Full Review Leigh Paatsch Daily Telegraph (Australia) Vaughn is a solid anchor for a movie of this type, ramping back his performance so that co-stars such as Lorraine Bracco, Susan Sarandon and Talia Shire get their chance to shine. Rated: 3/5 Jun 9, 2025 Full Review Bruce R. Miller Sioux City Journal If there’s value in a film like this, it’s showing older actresses in a more realistic light. Jane Fonda, Diane Keaton, Sally Field and Lily Tomlin may work a lot. But the films they’re stuck in don’t begin to tap the talent they represent. Rated: 2.5/4 Jun 6, 2025 Full Review Ruth Maramis FlixChatter Film Blog This based-on-a-true-story is warm and fuzzy, even predictable, but surprisingly profound, with teachable moments baked into every key scene Rated: 4/5 Jun 2, 2025 Full Review Read all reviews

Katy P Absolutely heartwarming. Nonnas is a beautiful celebration of love, family, and tradition with amazing performances that feel completely genuine. I haven’t seen a movie this touching since Steel Magnolias. A true gem, a must see! Rated 5 out of 5 stars 06/20/25 Full Review John P Made me hungry. Heartwarming movie that isn’t overly sentimental. Vince Vaughn is the stable center. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 06/19/25 Full Review jeff s just junk. worse than a hallmark movie. sappy and really poor writing. there is no story, and the idea is idiotic. u will be sorry. Rated 1 out of 5 stars 06/18/25 Full Review John R This movie brought back memories of large family traditional family gatherings where the it was all about the food, always home made. Sit back and enjoy, I sure did! Wonderful cast, funny and sad. Great film! Rated 4 out of 5 stars 06/16/25 Full Review Audience Member Amassment of tired old Italian-American clichés and by-the-numbers family/food sentimentality that has stenciled FEEL GOOD, OR ELSE all over it. The least inspired script that you can possibly think of, insulting to the acting talents, Italian-American culture, and the audience. Rated 1 out of 5 stars 06/16/25 Full Review Yash B "Nonnas" delivers a wholesome and life affirming true story that is just pure comfort cinema. This movie has lots of sweet moments, and I enjoyed watching it. It is light and clean, which makes it a refreshing watch. I felt Vince Vaughn channeled more of his dramatic chops here, but I felt he worked well for this story. The movie does have a patch where it dragged a bit for me, but I loved how it ended and thought the story was engaging and interesting. Overall, it is a sweet movie that has a great positive message that most people should resonate with. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 06/16/25 Full Review Read all reviews
