Graham F I watched this documentary the week before I stayed in LA and visited the store. The film helps you understand the history behind it which is impressive but also you get to see how Norm is a genuine guy with a great love for guitars. It was also nice to see that when you meet him and the other guys that work in the shop they are the same in real life. Normans is an essential place to visit and this film was a great watch, I would have been quite happy if it had been longer too. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 05/28/25 Full Review Glenn P Norm has sold guitars to everyone from Robbie Robertson and George Harrison to Dawes - one of my favorite bands. If you like music, guitars or the story of a passionately successful small business, you'll LOVE Norman's Rare Guitars on Netflix! I mentioned Norm's to a friend in New York who, in addition to his tech job, plays guitar in cafes He responded, "Norman's Rare Guitars is a Mecca in my world!" I had no idea. I sometimes feel like I've seen everything on TV. I know the plots and I've stopped laughing at the comedy. I think, "That was funny. I see what they did there." Norm's Rare Guitars is a breath of authentic air in the formulaic narratives of streaming. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 05/24/25 Full Review Rich H Awesome. I'm a fan of music and this entertained from the beginning to the end. Highly recommend. He tells stories about the biggest figures in Rock and Roll History including George Harrison, Tom Petty, Post Malone and many more. He is also a warm hearted philanthropist who is a major sponsor of the Midnight Mission for the Homeless in Los Angeles. Great Story, Great movie. Watch it! Rated 5 out of 5 stars 05/05/25 Full Review Stephanie M From the moment the first chord strums, Norman's Rare Guitars Documentary immerses viewers in a world where vintage instruments and legendary musicians converge. Watching the documentary, I was struck by Norman’s genuine passion for music and his dedication to preserving musical heritage. The documentary showcases the store’s evolution from the beginning in 1975 and highlights how this store has become a haven for musicians and a repository of rare instruments. The intimate interviews and behind-the-scenes glimpses into the store's operations made me feel connected to a vibrant community of artists and enthusiasts. Whether you're a seasoned musician or simply a music lover, Norman's Rare Guitars Documentary offers an inspiring look into the world of vintage instruments and the people who cherish them.
