Audience Member Many great moments throughout the film with unexpected twists and turns that make this light-hearted comedy fun and engaging from beginning to end. The true gem of this film, unfortunately, seems to have been left out of the marketing and promotional material, which isn't all bad because it sets the viewer up to be wowed and surprised when they meet "Joe" - the bar owner (played perfectly by Joe Parrilli). He is at once charming, witty, and comedic with a spontaneity that sets the pace for every scene he steals. The rest of the cast is pretty good too and they all work quite believably together. With more recognition it would be held in as high esteem as Clerks as one of the best slacker comedies made in the late 90s/00s. Aside from a script full of zingers, put-downs and bizarre life perspectives, it encapsulates that dynamic when a set of friends are, well, a bit too close and inter-connected and refusing to grow up. It also has the smartest revenge to a cheating boyfriend of any film ever and it's that ability to allow the characters to have fully rounded personalities and motivations that makes this a world you would be happy to sit back and watch.
