In 1975, Ontario slacker Tony Andretti (Jeff Schultz), a shiftless, low-level marijuana dealer, promises his dying miner grandfather to look after his grandmother, the fiery Rosa (Viveca Lindfors). After Tony messes up a routine hand-off, he wants to get out of town and agrees to take his mistrustful grandmother to Pittsburgh, so she can file a lawsuit over her husband's death from black lung disease. On the road, the uneasy duo grow closer despite their differences.
