Logan D Vikings stranded in Scottish lands rescue a princess hoping for reward. But her father is nuts. Taking her with them, they attempt to make it to sea. My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed this film. The director is unabashedly a fan of B movies and this is certainly that. It's a throwback to adventure films of the 70s and 80s. If you want insightful cinema, which I can enjoy as well, this isn't for the cerebral only. This is a popcorn flick with solid action. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 01/07/24 Full Review Mike H Offensively bad Scottish accents. Surely one of the production team went to Scotland at some point 😂😂😂😂 Rated 1.5 out of 5 stars 09/26/23 Full Review THE-RENNINGTON C The close shots and fighting scenes made this an interesting watch... but the storyline (to me) felt too long. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 11/27/22 Full Review Audience Member Extremely unrealistic, really predictable.... Waste of time Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 01/30/23 Full Review dolores c Very violent sometimes unnecessarily so. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 03/30/23 Full Review Audience Member Like someone said, what is up with the Viking leader having to be rescued more than once by his men? And if they had to address religion and where people go in afterlife, which seems to be a major undercurrent in the film (because they kept bringing it up over and over, you start to think this is part of the film's agenda) at least they should have researched Christianity more as they did with the Viking religion so there's at least a balanced discourse on the whole matter, unless that's wasn't part of their agenda when they created the subtext. Like when the monk saying that the crucifixion should be a symbol when the Viking leader brought up Christ's death as a reason not to believe in Christ… that was weak. A monk would have said Christ died for people's sins and he rose from the grave three days later since He is God and cannot be held by death so that's why people believe. Other than that, the movie was alright, a distraction during social distancing. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 02/24/23 Full Review Read all reviews
