Dave R Northpole (2014) MY REVIEW: Let me preface this by saying I have had a preconceived about Hallmark Channel movies. I regarded them as the fast food of the film industry. They seem good, but afterwards nothing but regret. This film softened my view all be it this is only the first one I have ever watched all the way to the end. When looking for a comforting, sweet, Christmassy movie I went on the googlenator and selected this one. I saw that the cast included Tiffani Thiessen, Robert Wagner, Jill St John, three veteran actors. Other cast members Bailee Madison, Josh Hopkins, and Max Charles. The plot is the Northpole is in trouble due to a lack of Christmas spirit around the world when an Elf by the name of Clementine decides to save the Land to the North with the help of a young boy by the name of Kevin. I was pleasantly surprised with this film. A very nice well written and directed film that definitely gives you that warm feeling inside. It's not over the top sticky sweet, just enough that won't make you go into a diabetic shock. You will just have a good feeling like a warm, soothing cup of Hot Cocoa which this film is intended to give you.
