Rated 4 out of 5 stars 02/12/23 Full Review dave d This is an inspiring and frightful tale of the Chapecoense soccer club from Brazil who rose from the depths of low level Brazilian soccer to the top of the country. You don't have to understand how the soccer works to be touched in many ways by the highs and lows of Chapecoense. The journey may be short, but it's worthwhile and uplifting and available for Americans thanks to Fox Sports. Final Score: 8.0/10 Rated 4 out of 5 stars 03/31/23 Full Review Audience Member Great capture of the history behind the headline and the emotion of all the occurred before and after the tragedy Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/16/23 Full Review Audience Member This is a powerful documentary on the tragedy of the Chapecoense soccer team. Seventy-one players, administrators, staff, journalists and air crew members were killed in a plane crash carrying the team to a championship game in Columbia. This documentary addresses the impact of that loss on the families, the community, the team and the survivors. Ultimately the greatest lesson learned is the value of team chemistry. The Chapecoense team lost in the plane crash was a tight knit group more family than team. That encompassed their families as well. In the rebuilding process that family atmosphere was lost for a while and only after recognition the family spirit was critical to true success were they truly able to cope and move forward as a community, a team and a family. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/27/23 Full Review Audience Member Emotional movie, that is not only for soccer fans. It shows the tragic events that a small team, young player and relatively new team, that evolved as a family and that was decimated by a tragic airline disaster. But shows the aftershock of the accident for the team but also to families of the players. Amazing. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/27/23 Full Review Read all reviews
