In this hilarious spoof comedy, billionaire talk show host Hoprah Windfall uses her direct connection to God (Jamie Foxx) to demand he deliver a hero to help her plummeting ratings -- or else she will cancel him. Panicked, God decides to call on the hardest-working man in the world, Taylor Pherry (Kevin Daniels). Despite Taylor's lack of experience, God convinces him to do the impossible -- write a hit movie using his dysfunctional, crazy family as the inspiration. But the Devil (Mickey Rourke) is in the details and he has a fiendish plan of his own to disrupt the whole ordeal.

The more familiar you are with Perry's various films, the more you'll get all the jokes, but mostly you just need to know his famous character Madea, the types of melodramas he specializes in, and (of course), the man himself.

Tyler Perry already parodies himself. He beat you to the punch before you even got started. Not Another Church Movie will never be as enjoyable as unintentionally funny films like A Fall from Grace and Mea Culpa.

If you think most of Tyler Perry's movies are bad, they look like masterpieces compared to Not Another Church Movie, which is a painfully unfunny and trashy parody of Tyler Perry and his movies. Any money spent on this horrid junk is money that is wasted.
