Baby D This movie was actually really good. Most reviews do not count when people are still hating on Shane Dawson. Shane Dawson and all the other actors and actresses in this movie were amazing and funny as hell. There were also touching scenes that were so sweet and this movie deserves better ratings on it. Instead it's corrupted with other people who are hating automatically and most likely didn't even watch it. People should already know that you have to have a dark sense of humor to like Shane Dawson's videos or movies or hell even his book!!! Drew Monson is incredible. His acting and brand of humor are unique and they just worked so well; he was a perfect fit for this cast. While the story was a but cliché, I understand Shane was working with specific source material so that probably had a lot to do with it. I know that some people didn't enjoy this as much as I did but I can't really understand why. I've seen movies that were 10xs worse than this; ie the Scary Movie series, Date Movie, etc. "Not Cool" held it's own and I can genuinely say I enjoyed it and I'm glad I watched! It is so loud, obnoxious, unfocused, terribly done, and some of the cringest horrific gross out and bad taste lame humor that thinks it's hip and modern I have EVER seen. It does kind of settle down in the second half and resembles something of a cookie cutter teen sex comedy but even than it's nothing special and the humor is still SOOOO bad. I have never gotten as bad a headache watching something in the first half hour as this gave me in the back of my head. It was like a buzz where it's so bad it activated my brains fight or flight system and actively started numbing my brain to protect it from the brain cells this was killing at such a rapid rate. I watched it but it was like I wasn't there to make it through this. Also, the whole side plot scenes with the best friend with glasses getting laid could've been cut completely and nothing would be lost. It's just there to make it to the 90 minute runtime. Skip This. This is in competition for not just one of the worst comedies I've ever seen but one of the worst movies ever.
