Audience Member OK sequel to gay horror film, October Moon (which ruled). This time the gay killer from the first movie's gay dad enters the picture, and he's even more sick and deranged! The gay incest storyline with the dad and the main character Eli, his "son", put me off for awhile until it's revealed that he's not really his son, but his gay street whore. All the surviving characters from the first film return, and the intolerant mother gets a bigger role as she finds redemption by accepting Eli the way she couldn't accept her gay son, Elliot, the gay killer from the first film. The film really seems like it's going nowhere until the climax, then it gets really good. It could've been better. Cool to see Jerod Howard return in flashbacks. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 02/17/23 Full Review Audience Member I feel like this movie had two completely separate plot lines, one of which was good, the other not so much. The drama aspect of this movie was really good, and would have been enough for the movie to go on. The thriller aspect was poorly written, and executed. The acting was mediocre but not bad enough to shut the flick off. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 02/15/23 Full Review Audience Member Painfully slow "psychodrama" that's actually a sequel to a film called "October Moon," although somehow none of the press info mentioned it. Huh. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 02/03/23 Full Review Read all reviews
