Noel Murray Los Angeles Times Even if viewers can’t make sense of it all, they should be able to connect to the way Van Warmerdam revisits some of his favorite themes — including the idea that we’re all actors really, struggling to remember our lines and motivations. Dec 9, 2022 Full Review Brandon Yu New York Times What the film ultimately becomes — a sci-fi mystery, a smirking satire of religion — doesn’t possess enough actual narrative meat, formal style, or wit to justify its structural gambit. Dec 8, 2022 Full Review Richard Whittaker Austin Chronicle A slightly silly and thematically threadbare disappointment. Rated: 2/5 Dec 1, 2022 Full Review Dan Tabor Cinapse NR. 10 is a pop punk melodrama that has the band setting fire to their stage at the end of their set. Depending on your taste, your mileage will definitely vary with this one since that third act is going to be divisive as Hell. Jan 23, 2023 Full Review Christopher Cross Tilt Magazine While its mystery is far better staged than the payoff, Nr. 10 is a delightfully bizarre movie helmed by compelling performances and fascinating characters. Rated: 3/5 Dec 14, 2022 Full Review Dennis Harvey 48 Hills Van Warmerdam’s specialty is springing surreal, left-field plot twists. I’d advise anyone planning on seeing Nr. 10 to avoid other reviews that recklessly spoil... Dec 13, 2022 Full Review Read all reviews

Hardy K Another surreal masterpiece from Alex van Warmerdam who has become my favorite director. Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 04/11/24 Full Review Avindu G Many stories in a single movie packed into a half an hour is not something done easily. There's so much that's told visually than verbally. We see the dubiousness, hate and nothingness of lives through unique set of characters. Setup of backgrounds was something stands out. Consistent performances by the cast keep the story's puzzling as ever. The colour schemes throughout the story adds rigidity and cinematography leaves many avenues of thought open to dissect the story but it's safe to say that Gunter maybe imagining a whole lot slowly drowning in madness after nailing Marius whose been floating off the stage anyway. A great work of art that floats to outer space. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 07/06/23 Full Review sam s A great movie from van Warmerdam. SPOILER: Good collage, 'mature', 'vague', calm, and emotional scifi Rated 4 out of 5 stars 03/17/23 Full Review Read all reviews
