      K. T This movie was pretty good, much better than I had thought it would be. Starts out slow, but gets better. Although, the ending was a bummer, I would recommend this movie. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 12/16/23 Full Review Leticia q This is well perfect Rated 5 out of 5 stars 09/16/23 Full Review Audience Member The premise was good the acting was good, but I have a hard time believing than anyone who lives in Canada would go off into the woods in sub zero weather to dig up buried treasure without any gloves or hats, no real winter clothing and no shovel. Also, no lighter or matches, no way to light a fire, and and even harder time believing they could dig a few feet down into frozen soil with their hands, a tire iron and a few branches. Or that someone who knew he was freezing to death would take off his winter coat to climb back up a mountain and not bring it . People are frostbitten and black, but the guy who has never had gloves hands are fine... But the end is cool! Rated 2 out of 5 stars 02/25/23 Full Review Audience Member I will never get back the time I spent watching this movie. I would have rather watched paint dry. Terrible plot, terrible acting, and just all around dumb story. I'm probably being a little dramatic but honestly it was that bad. It's got to the point where my roommate and myself joked about watching it again in case we missed something. Please don't waste your time Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 02/19/23 Full Review Audience Member Just watched it on Amazon Prime and it was an entertaining thriller with a good plot. I especially liked the ending. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 02/10/23 Full Review Audience Member Low budget thriller has many technical flaws, but aren't obvious enough to spoil the movie. The "gold" coins were tarnished, and not even gold colored. 2 things about gold; 1) Gold has a "golden" color, and 2) Gold doesn't oxidize or tarnish. gold-foil chocolate coins would've looked more authentic. Barry Hertz Globe and Mail There are chills here and there, but not enough to justify putting on your coat and braving the elements on the way to the theatre. Rated: 2/4 Mar 4, 2016 Full Review Linda Barnard Toronto Star Director Jason R. Goode creates a taut mood and gives us plenty of lovely but deadly landscape to ponder. But Numb is likely to leave sensible filmgoers cold. Rated: 2/4 Mar 3, 2016 Full Review Jorge Ignacio Castillo The Canadian Crew While Bamber and von Pfetten are fine as the hapless couple, Aleks Paunovic as their amiable-yet-menacing associate steals the movie. Rated: 3/5 Jan 28, 2020 Full Review Jennie Kermode Eye for Film Overall the pacing is good and there's enough tension to keep things interesting. There might be enough to put you off going treasure hunting. Then again, maybe not. Rated: 3/5 Nov 10, 2017 Full Review Jill Wilson Winnipeg Free Press In the end, it's the audience that's numb, or more accurately, indifferent. Rated: 2/5 Mar 11, 2016 Full Review Ken Eisner Georgia Straight This low-budget chiller has enough substance to suggest hotter things to come. Mar 3, 2016 Full Review Read all reviews
