This movie was pretty good, much better than I had thought it would be. Starts out slow, but gets better. Although, the ending was a bummer, I would recommend this movie.

The premise was good the acting was good,but I have a hard time believing than anyone who lives in Canada would go off into the woods in sub zero weather to dig up buried treasure without any gloves or hats, no real winter clothing and no shovel. Also, no lighter or matches, no way to light a fire, and and even harder time believing they could dig a few feet down into frozen soil with their hands, a tire iron and a few branches. Or that someone who knew he was freezing to death would take off his winter coat to climb back up a mountain and not bring it . People are frostbitten and black, but the guy who has never had gloves hands are fine... But the end is cool!

I will never get back the time I spent watching this movie. I would have rather watched paint dry. Terrible plot, terrible acting, and just all around dumb story. I'm probably being a little dramatic but honestly it was that bad. It's got to the point where my roommate and myself joked about watching it again in case we missed something. Please don't waste your time

Low budget thriller has many technical flaws, but aren't obvious enough to spoil the movie. The "gold" coins were tarnished, and not even gold colored. 2 things about gold; 1) Gold has a "golden" color, and 2) Gold doesn't oxidize or tarnish. gold-foil chocolate coins would've looked more authentic.
