Danielle Solzman Solzy at the Movies It's one of the better war films of its era but the biggest problem with Objective, Burma! is that it's more American than it has any right to be. Rated: 3.5/5 Apr 9, 2023 Full Review Mattie Lucas From the Front Row One of the finest American war films to be released during WWII. Rated: 3/4 Aug 26, 2021 Full Review Dennis Schwartz Dennis Schwartz Movie Reviews The action is gritty, the dialogue is sparse and the star Errol Flynn is at his swashbuckling best. Rated: B+ Jul 21, 2021 Full Review Matt Brunson Film Frenzy Most of the World War II films that were produced and released during the conflict understandably leaned heavy on the propaganda, which makes Objective, Burma! seem all the more unusual and remarkable. Rated: 3.5/4 Jul 17, 2021 Full Review James Agee The Nation It makes this picture moving and good, for all its outright faults and sorry limitations. Jun 24, 2021 Full Review John J. Puccio Movie Metropolis The director alone should tell you all you need to know about this Errol Flynn set: Raoul Walsh. Rated: 7/10 Aug 6, 2010 Full Review Read all reviews

Steve D Fine war film like too many others. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 03/28/24 Full Review David K Top-notch WWII film with Errol Flynn knocking it out of the park. Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 04/17/23 Full Review Audience Member Good old gung ho film. Worth a watch . Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 02/11/23 Full Review Audience Member Excellent WW2 movie. Highly recommended for this type of movie!! Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/06/23 Full Review Audience Member Not bad - avoids the usual over-the-top heroism common in that day Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 01/17/23 Full Review Audience Member Objective Burma! I did not think this film was that good. First of all there was far to much expossition scenes in this film especially to start off the film. I did not think it was necessary to have the comic relief character in this film. It did not work for how serious the rest of the tone of the film was. The dialog and character development in this film was so bland and boring in this film. The action was fine. I was not aware that the American's were fighting in Burma early in the war. I was not even sure where Burma was till this film which is beside India, Tibet and China. I was not even aware that Japan reached that far west in World War II. It was cool seeing the gliders in this film. Idon't think this film needed Errol Flynn because their really was not much character development or Personality shown out of Errol Flynn in this film. This is not a film I would recomend to others. This film made me want to turn it off and go to bed. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 04/11/18 Full Review Read all reviews Post a rating
