Audience Member More a psychological horror than your straightforward jump-scare frightener. Worth a look if you're into what indie films bring that Hollywood doesn't. Tone is consistent while maintaining an engaging story that you don't feel one step ahead of. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 01/24/23 Full Review Audience Member Loved the tone and sense of ominous dread that this evokes. Something about the pacing, soundtrack, and dream-like quality reminds me a bit of Donnie Darko. Also, I'm a sucker for good voice-over narration, and this hit the nail on the head with it. Keep in mind, this is a low-budget film, but it stretches it skillfully. Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 01/18/23 Full Review Audience Member Moody, visually exciting, and dark story of family horror/thriller that keeps you engaged from opening shot until final door slam. A family's cursed past rears its ugly head in the present. This film movies quickly and entertains. Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 02/05/23 Full Review Audience Member The directing, acting, and story line were all good in this film - kept my interest and intrigue. A relatable theme of dysfunctional dark family with secrets. A recommended watch if you enjoy indie horror thriller films with unexpected twists, with more realism than "Hollywoodism".
