Roger Ebert Chicago Sun-Times There are laughs, but they come either from isolated lines of dialog or from the sheer incoherence of the plot. There are thrills -- or, more accurately, there is one thrill, a fairly boring one as horror-film thrills go. Rated: 1/4 Oct 23, 2004 Full Review Ruth Batchelor Los Angeles Free Press It seems these film makers are trying for comedy, and they made a full-length film out of what Bob Hope would have turned down as a bad skit 20 years ago. MATTHEW P Worth watching mainly for the great cast with such horror luminaries as Linda Hayden, Veronica Carlson and Nicky Henson. Not the best Dracula comedy by any stretch of the imagination but still a lot of fun. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 12/30/23 Full Review Audience Member What the **** were you thinking, making a ****-*** Dracula parody that is unfunny, and unoriginal!!!!!!!!!!!! Rated 1.5 out of 5 stars 01/24/23 Full Review Audience Member A British horror-comedy originally titled Vampira. Count Dracula is played by David Niven (My Man Godfrey, Pink Panther, Casino Royale, Around the World in 80 Days, etc). His girlfriend falls ill so he locates the special blood he needs to heal her by harvesting it from a variety of Playmates. Because the blood came from a Black woman, it turns his girlfriend Black. Desperate to return her to her original race, he travels to the hip West End of London in order to harvest blood from more hotties. He doesn't want to be seen out-and-about with his girlfriend in her current state. No scares and the comedy appeared in a handful of one-liners. Dull, despite being very politically-incorrect (twist-ending was spot-on, though). Rated 2 out of 5 stars 02/02/23 Full Review jaime l Although it still delivers laughs and has a charm to it, there is some lack in cohesion. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 03/30/23 Full Review Audience Member And I'm being generous. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 02/12/23 Full Review Audience Member Totalt oväntat en av de roligaste filmer man kan se, om man är på rätt humör.
