Shubhra Gupta The Indian Express In the current atmosphere of rising conservatism and religious extremism, was it really possible to have a film which would talk up the ills attached to religious practices? Oh My God does this, and we commend the film for its subject and treatment. Rated: 3/5 Mar 22, 2019 Full Review Jimmy Cage Jimmy Cage Movie Reviews (YouTube) A delightfully amusing, clever and also progressive and daring satire with a strong Paresh Rawal and hilarious Akshay Kumar. It loses a bit of momentum towards the end, but overall, it’s still a movie well worth checking out. Rated: 7/10 Aug 8, 2023 Full Review Sapna Samant Flicks (AU, NZ, UK) OMG walks a fine line between sermonizing and entertaining and has long patches of super-preachy kitsch. Yet the subject is so compelling that you come out with a smile on your face and perhaps a decision to open up your holy text. Rated: 3/5 Oct 31, 2017 Full Review Simon Foster sbs.com.au Shukla's fable takes its sweet time getting off the ground but ultimately proves to be an utterly adorable, nicely humanistic riff on the role of religion in an everyman's life. Muizz M Brilliant just brilliant👌👌👌👌👌👌👌👌👌👌👌👌👌👌 Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 12/09/23 Full Review Adi 1 One of my favs of all time. A film which goes against the religious practices while respecting God in a way. It has a groundbreaking script, brilliant performances and some well written dialogue. All in all, a must watch. Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 03/24/23 Full Review Audience Member The best movie for generations Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/02/23 Full Review yash b "OMG" is a decent satire from Bollywood. The movie does do a pretty good job of covering a lot of social topics and I thought Paresh Rawal is good in the lead role. The movie is definitely smart but I wasn't always entertained by it. I did feel that it dragged, particularly in the second half. However, I was fairly engaged with it and felt okay with watching it one time. I think the film "PK" from 2014 explores some similar topics in a far more entertaining way and I can't help compare the two because they feel so similar. This is an acceptable satirical story with solid messages at its center. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 03/31/23 Full Review Audience Member Boring. Plus the fact that this did bettet than preditor shooks me Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 02/13/23 Full Review Audience Member It's outstanding Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/19/23 Full Review Read all reviews
