james w Eugene Levy's directorial debut. Star studded cast, one of the last John Candy films… 1992 was campy & not yet modern- but that's what makes this so binge worthy. It u lived it, u'll love it. If u r a millennial, consider it homework for historical context. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/15/24 Full Review Viv M WHAT? Why did this movie get such a low rating? It's one of the funniest movie I've ever seen, without the need to be vulgar. On my top 10 of best comedies of all time. Watch it! Rated 5 out of 5 stars 03/30/23 Full Review Steve D Not one single thing works in this mess. Rated 1 out of 5 stars 02/22/23 Full Review Audience Member A recent discovery that entertained me with its unique take on a Murder Mystery, John Candy is a personal highlight of the film for me. Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 01/31/23 Full Review Audience Member Hysterically funny. Excellent plot that cracks along and manages to surprise. This from an age when people knew how to make a three act play. Acting is over the top comedy acting typical of its time. I suppose this is the biggest obstacle to Gen Y who would watch this movie without the requisite preparation. If you like Spies Like Us, Trading Places, Coming To America, Armed and Dangerous, See No Evil Hear No Evil, Life of Brian, or even American Pie, you would love this movie. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/14/23 Full Review Audience Member light comedy, moves quickly, nice scenic backdrop, comedy ensemble of richard lewis, John Candy, James Beluchi and Cybil Shepherd, it is fun to watch belushi and candy, the movie is not that funny, but I did enjoy it more because of the acting between some of the cast. It is a lighthearted fun movie, a comedy mystery who donit. worth the watch. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 01/23/23 Full Review Read all reviews Post a rating
