Audience Member This movie is a wonderful romance, with just enough fantasy and tales of woe, intertwined. It is heartbreaking and romantic, at the same time. This is, most definitely, a "must see"! You need to see this film for yourself! The visual effects (especially the underwater world and the heavenly palace!), the costumes, the actors' supreme good looks (I almost went giddy when Yang Yang's face first appeared on the screen!)...it's a feast for the eye! Not only that, there are some plot holes in this movie that made you question a lot. The romance feels very off, the whole plot felt rushed and some scenes were semi choppy. I tried to not compare both asian drama and movie but if I had to pick, the asian drama's the best. I recommend you guys to watch the drama one instead.
