Richard Propes TheIndependentCritic.com Vuissa proves that he's willing to face the truth, or other's perception of the truth, through the eyes of faith. Audience Member this is one good film you have to see if your want to learn about mormonism. Christian Vuissa is one of the best mormon directors you'll never forget. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/23/23 Full Review Audience Member Compared to much Mormon genre cinema, a lot of work and talent went into this movie. Obviously, the director's heart and soul was in this production. Much of the acting was outstanding. Music was very good. Photography was excellent. Casting (particulary of the bishop's family members) was very good. (Casting and acting for the Stake President was road schow quality, though.) Although the movie does a rather good job of portraying the frustrations, challenges, and joys of service in being an LDS Bishop, the movie has a fatal flaw: No consistent story line. The movie drags--really drags for the first 30 minutes. If asked what the movie is about--that is, "What is the story?"--viewers would be hard pressed to give an answer. Not worth seeing.
