Everett M I found absolutely NOTHING of interest with Nick Drake or his music. Such tired and predictable monotony. I'd rather chew glass than view this again. Ditto for Suzie's involvement and speaking about her fashion. Nick Drakula - Much Ado About Nothing Rated 1 out of 5 stars 12/27/22 Full Review nefasto r "You believe in God, but you get no special dispensation for this belief now." Nick Cave has that something that no many living people have, something almost ethereal and magical, and having the chance to be part of his world is an amazing experience. Unfortunately in this case is also painful, due to the circumstances. This is the most personal film I have ever seen and a great documentary about dealing with grief and creative process, and how one affects the other. All of it, with very artistic touches and great respect, both for the people within the story and for the watchers. Very powerful. Thank you Nick. Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 03/31/23 Full Review matthew b "I am god, thinking of god, thinking of Steve McQueen." It's been awhile for a documentary that left me breathless, speechless and having tears in my eyes. His voice talking about his art through poetry, which is a deep look into the creative genius of Nick Cave. But you can also hear his pain. Visually stunning with beautiful and haunting imagery that planted itself into my brain. A true portrait of grief. You only have to see this once for it to stay with you. Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 03/30/23 Full Review Audience Member Painfully crafted art that is thoughtful and melancholy. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/31/23 Full Review Audience Member Thoughtful. Compassionate. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 05/29/18 Full Review Audience Member "One More Time With Feeling" is a rather subdued film, what with the slow-paced talk and the minimalist direction of Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds' current output. But it's also a stunningly shot one, with an abundance of frames beautiful in both conception and execution, as well as a film highlighting not only the vibrancy of the band's creative process but also Nick Cave's unique way with words, while also dealing with the touchy subject of the death of his son Arthur in a suitably discreet way. Rated: 4/4 Dec 1, 2016 Full Review Sean O'Neal AV Club As a documentary, One More Time hesitates to say anything too neatly or directly. In that way, it is a uniquely effective meditation on grief. Aug 20, 2022 Full Review Milana Vujkov Lola On Film A testament to the inexplicability of mourning, and the therapeutic nature of art. In this case, the art of the moving image, the most conjuring art of all. Jul 30, 2021 Full Review Sara Martínez Ruiz Espinof The movie can be seen today as the official video clip of several of the 'Skeleton Tree' (2016) titles. Possibly the most lively and live representation in which we can ever listen to these titles. [Full Review in Spanish] Aug 20, 2019 Full Review Read all reviews
