Ed . Typical Klugman performance - engaging, likeable, endearing. Some people find it hard to get over Joel Fabiani's Irish accent. If you can, you'll enjoy a clever mystery remake of a play called "Trap of a Solitary Man" previously remade in an earlier TV movie with Janet Leigh called "Honeymoon with a Stranger." The fundamental plot is universally adaptable regardless of the times, with just the technology and fashions changing. Easily found on YouTube. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 08/29/25 Full Review Audience Member One of the great made-for-tv movies of the 70s, and a stellar mystery that keeps you guessing to the very end. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/05/23 Full Review Audience Member One of the better made for TV movies. Excellent performance from the entire cast, a good clever plot and tight direction.
