It's better with fists and guns than people, but it knows what targets it wants to hit, and its aim is sure. Go to Full Review

A self-canceling combination of the earnest and the clueless, its technical competency shorn of any leavening style or personality. Go to Full Review

One Ranger is just a ridiculous series of chase scenes where viewers are supposed to believe that MI6 can't catch an international terrorist without the help of one Texas Ranger. John Malkovich's oddly placed role in the movie is really a glorified cameo. Go to Full Review

This modern-day Western has good central characters, but they're stuck in a story that's both convoluted and ridiculous, with characters and exposition that fail to drive the action. Go to Full Review

Emphasizing contrived chases and confrontations over character development and emotional complexity, this formulaic cat-and-mouse thriller is primarily content to rehash genre tropes. Go to Full Review

Sue B @SuzyDaisy 5h Sometimes you watch a film wondering how on earth they even raised the money to make it. It was a novel concept but the positives end there. Stereotypical characterisation, purile dialogue and John Malcovich must have been laughing all the way to the bank See more Sue N Dec 10 Ruined by John Malkovitch's ridiculous accent and acting. See more Marco G @Caspian-Hec Dec 3 This had the makings of a solid modern-day Western. I even let Thomas Jane’s improbable Walter Brennan drawl slide. But instead of No Country for Old Men, we got Country of Old Rope when the film suddenly, absurdly shifted to London’s mean streets. Forget plot or credibility - anything goes in this flailing farrago. Machine guns blaze across London, our hero ends up with more holes than a colander, yet somehow survives long enough to mow down bloodthirsty Mexicans with a slipping AK-47 before circling an outcrop faster than you can say howdy. Any Brit (Including writer/director Jesse Johnson) knows MI6 officers aren’t "agents" and Dominique Tipper is lost, barking orders at a "lootenant." No explanation is offered as to why American John Malkovich is apparently running MI6, and his wandering accent suggests he read the wrong script entirely. On Netflix you can’t always tell what’s straight-to-video. Spoiler: this one is — and should stay in the under-£2 bargain bin. See more Chris D Dec 3 Terrible, I can not say anything good about it See more Neil K Dec 2 What can one say about this film, lot's and none of them good. Poor acting, surprisingly from John Malkovich too, poorly written and poorly executed also. If you have a spare 1 1/2 hours go and spend it in the garden instead.
