Marc Savlov Austin Chronicle Overflowing with Chan's trademark stunt setpieces (not to mention his own goony brand of extremely broad slapstick), the film's a dazzler... Rated: 3/5 Jan 1, 2000 Full Review Rob Gonsalves Rob's Movie Vault Chan, as always, is a goofy and endearing presence; his small frame and expressive features link him with the great silent comedians he idolizes and also make him a plausible action hero. Rated: B Sep 1, 2022 Full Review Mike Massie Gone With The Twins The finale in the maze-like cave-monastery becomes the show's greatest accomplishment, boasting a foursome of high-heeled female martial artists and a vest of dynamite. Rated: 5/10 Sep 24, 2020 Full Review Peter Canavese Groucho Reviews Plenty fun: as per the Jackie Chan standard, it's total nonsense, but unpretentiously entertaining and occasionally ingenious. [Blu-ray] Rated: 2.5/4 May 9, 2012 Full Review TV Guide The film hits escape velocity, moving straight from one phenomenal set piece to another, with no room between to catch your breath. DanTheMan 2 If you thought the first Armour of God took inspiration from Indiana Jones, then Armour of God II would like a word with you. There's so much more in terms of Spielberg and Lucas' iconography here, be it the large deserts, mystical artefacts and of course, nazis, but it's all mixed with Jackie's patterned style of perfectionist filmmaking. Operation Condor is much more of the pulpy globe-trotting action adventure that I had hoped the first one would have been and, combined with this film's stellar action set pieces (if you've seen The Spy Next Door you'll recognise a lot of it), means I slightly prefer this one over its predecessor despite the much weaker musical score, dated stereotyping and serious lack of Alan Tam to balance out the antics of Asian Hawk. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 06/11/23 Full Review Jimmy P A spectacular adventure from start to finish. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 01/20/23 Full Review Matthew B Best of Movies/TV Series Collection Rated 5 out of 5 stars 12/19/22 Full Review Adolfo J Full of action with a touch of Jackie Chan humor Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/12/22 Full Review Audience Member This was an absolute blast! The fight choreography and several seriously death defying stunts from the Legend himself Jackie Chan alone is worthy of an 8/10. The script leaves much to be desired but came off surprisingly hilarious throughout. It's over the top cheesy goodness and i love how we get to see an Indiana Jones type of role from Jackie and its honestly some of his best work, i mean seriously he could have died while filming about 5 times he's an absolute madman. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 01/25/23 Full Review arun s It is good enough to watch.. but the desert stretch was little boring. The action sequences are good and both the heroines/actresses performed well Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 03/31/23 Full Review Read all reviews Post a rating
