Gary Arnold Washington Post Like virtually every movie, Lin Tse-hsu reveals interesting things about the culture that spawned it, but it's difficult to greet this 20-year-old mediocrity as a major culture revelation. Apr 23, 2018 Full Review Boyd van Hoeij Variety As in Osama, the Afghan writer-helmer again uses a non-pro cast, but the result is stifled by poorly written English dialogue and a failure to reconcile apparent realism with occasional detours into absurdist tragicomedy. Audience Member I saw this on opening day of Seattle International Film Festival. What a disappointment! This may be the worst movie I've ever seen. There is no plot, no message, and no value as entertainment. The characters are these shallow, brutish people whose motives and actions are impossible to understand due to the crude dialog used in the script: lots of insults and vulgarity are expressed for no apparent reason. This movie insults the intelligence of anyone who happens to be stuck watching it. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 02/26/23 Full Review Read all reviews
