Fairly messed up start which is hard to watch if you can't handle animal cruelty. Richard Harris plays a fishing boat captain who accidentally kills an orca. Unfortunately for Harris, that Orca was pregnant, and its mate is now seeking revenge upon Harris for his misdeeds. Directed by Michael Anderson (LOGAN’S RUN, OPERATION CROSSBOW), you’d have expected a better film, but what you get is boring and quite simply nonsense. This is probably because it’s a Dino De Laurentiis production and was written by a bunch of Italian writers who didn’t really understand what made JAWS such a good film. However, the great Robert Towne (THE LAST DETAIL, CHINATOWN) did do uncredited punch-ups on the script, but I can’t say it helped much. There are two good action sequences. One, where the Orca demolishes Harris’ house that’s built on the water. The other fun sequence is the film’s finale, taking place on an ice flow. Outside of those, and possibly the Ennio Morricone score, there’s really no reason to watch this film. Charlotte Rampling, Will Sampson (Chief from ONE FLEW OVER THE CUCKOO’S NEST), Bo Derek, Keenan Wynn, and Robert Carradine also appear in the film.  See more thiago s @Thiagostone Mar 12 Filme ruim, o roteiro é fraco, as cenas são fracas, a história que tem partes da orca são ruins, o elenco é fraco e ninguém faz o filme melhorar e nem os protagonistas melhoram o filme, com tudo isso, eu não recomendo esse filme.
