Refreshing to see an ambitious and original story and strong visual design. It is so delightfully weird. Seems like a great handling of the source material by Kaufman, and then in turn great handling of the script by the team at Dreamworks.

I loved the monologue of neurosis and the main characters journey from paralyzing fear to embracing his fear and overcoming it. I thought it was wonderful touching and creatively told using a parable to explore life lessons. Also, loved Herzogs short narration, and the spaceman at the end was a classic kids story. I can understand people thinking it would have flowed better not switching to time travel, but for me, it was funny and felt authentic to kids telling a story. Of course spacemen from the future enters and solves things. Plus it was the next generations son, the main characters daughters boy adding on to the story. So she passed down what her father taught her with the story to her son. I loved how the father was so open to allowing his daughter to finish his story. I teared up a few times and laughed alot.

The entire movie felt AI generated. The characters, scenes, writing, and emotional build up were off the entire movie. What especially threw it off was throwing in the Princess Bride narrative style.
