Amanda Jane Stern Film Inquiry Jitters is an enjoyable, but very dramatic movie that's definitely worth a watch. Sep 18, 2021 Full Review Read all reviews

Audience Member A well made movie! Very touching movie! Rated 3 out of 5 stars 07/21/18 Full Review Audience Member Nice story of a 16 year old adolescent coming to grips with the fact that he is gay. Movie is from Iceland and, remarkably enough, there are no scenes with snow. Flick has a lot more going on it besides the teen's trauma over his first gay romance, also involves a lot of drinking, partying and even a suicide. But a very enjoyable movie and the young (and old ) actors are great! Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 02/13/23 Full Review Audience Member La clásica película de adolescente que adolecen! Problemas van problemas vienen, sexo, sustancias y conflictos. Es entretenida pero no aporta muchos. Parece medio extravagante que sea islandesa, pero tranquilamente podría pasar en cualquier parte del mundo. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 01/13/23 Full Review Audience Member The first Icelandic movie I have ever seen and probably the last if all their movies are like this one. This show bit off more than it could chew; sometimes less is better. The entire cast of characters were more or less underdeveloped in my opinion as well as their personal stories. Gabriel's gay storyline seems to have taken a backdrop for most of the show and that is weird considering he is the main protagonist. It would of been nice if Gabriel and Marcus's "connection" was better developed but there were many other things going on that took away from that. Overall the show is watchable but there isn't much passion in this story to give it the excitement that it so desperately needed. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 02/21/23 Full Review Audience Member I don't often (almost never?) get to see movies from Iceland, and this was an interesting look into the culture of their young generation. I liked the fact that despite it being a gay-themed, coming-of-age film, it didn't focus on just the gay character, but gave us the stories and personalities of all the people involved. Nice characters and honest performances, but I wish it could have been better. It dragged on, it wasn't original and the gay plot seemed like an excuse to make the rest of the film. For its characters though, it's worth a watch. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 02/03/23 Full Review Audience Member Teens' coming of age stories in Iceland. Quite familiar cheesy indeed but perhaps rarely seen from Iceland productions. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 02/04/23 Full Review Read all reviews Post a rating
