Paulo (Guilherme Fontes), a Chilean teenager whose family has relocated to Rio de Janeiro in order to escape the Pinochet regime, is still shaken up by the loss of his brother, who was tortured to death by Chilean police. His salvation comes in the form of his cousin Patricia (Julia Lemmertz), an activist who encourages Paolo to take a stand against those responsible for his brother's death. The two join the anti-Pinochet demonstrators at the Chilean embassy and exact their revenge.
