Simon Abrams RogerEbert.com It’s never surprising nor smooth enough to warrant more than qualified praise, but “Osiris” will make you sit up and ask: 'Wait, who made this?' Rated: 2.5/4 Jul 25, 2025 Full Review Sankeerthna Vedamtam MovieJawn Every battle can be fought with either regular machine guns or alien machine guns, and it’s a good thing there’s so many of the latter lying around, for the endless shoot-out scenes on a ship whose floor plan has ceased to be memorable. Aug 19, 2025 Full Review Jennie Kermode Eye for Film This is a film made out of pieces of other films. Rated: 3/5 Aug 4, 2025 Full Review Sarah Vincent Sarah G Vincent Views After the hour mark, “Osiris” gets interesting because the story gives these men more of a mission than survival and introduces the only reason that you wanted to see this movie: Linda f**king Hamilton! Aug 1, 2025 Full Review Benjamin Franz Film Threat The practical effects team really excelled at developing the Alien physiology. Rated: 8.5/10 Jul 30, 2025 Full Review Diana Keng Geek Girl Authority While it’s not a movie that stands up to detailed scrutiny, Osiris is packed with solid action scenes, lots of alien conflict, and epitomizes the need to survive against all odds. Greg H A bit video game meets predator. Endless ammunition and a few missed opportunities. OK Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 11/10/25 Full Review Baxmeuste V If you like guns, shooting and seemingly endless ammunition, then you will probably love this movie. If you hoped for a more intelligent perspective on the alien abduction genre, then this will not be for you. This movie seemed more of a video game than a movie and video game shoot em up fans can be treated to a Doom style experience. There were no issues with the acting and I admit, some of the dialogue was quite comical and even enjoyable. Unfortunately, however, I don’t think I could recommend this film to many people. I certainly will not be watching it again unless a friend wanted me to watch it with them. I guess I’m a little tired of watching movies that are more about guns and shooting than storyline. Rated 1.5 out of 5 stars 11/06/25 Full Review Steve N Almost comically derivative, but still good fun, it’s a movie that doesn’t even try to hide its influences. Some fun set pieces, the cargo hold chase being the best, mean it keeps you engaged throughout. Pacing is good and acting solid enough with Linda Hamilton adding a touch of class. Overall one of the better sci fi action films I have seen in a while and while that’s a low bar to clear, I still think it was fun enough to recommend. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 11/02/25 Full Review armando d As a veteran and video game fan, this movie exceeded my expectations. My first review ever, great story, great ending...would love a sequel or a prequel! Rated 5 out of 5 stars 11/02/25 Full Review Magnus A Sort of like watching DOOM. No spoilers. The actors play this straight and pretty well. The story is obviously extreme but sort of makes sense. The script is a little short on nuance or subtlety - same with the direction. The sets are very limited but the confined setting sort of works. Essentially a simple shoot-em-up. Magazines hold a load of bullets but do run out and our heros have unlimited magazines. Of it's type this is not bad. Just about worth a watch. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 10/28/25 Full Review ARNEZ C. The action was okay The sweepers remind me of goombas there wasn't no suspense been a lot better Rated 3 out of 5 stars 10/25/25 Full Review Read all reviews
