The plot's so much old rote, and the characters have all the personality of protoplasm; but the anthropomorphising of this microcosmic metropolis is wonderfully imaginative, and the dialogue decidedly spiffy.

Criminally underrated. The animation is amazing, and this movie has one of the best cartoon villains I’ve ever seen. Thrax is fantastic antagonists. Great character design, voice acting, animation, etc. I do prefer the animated portions of the movie over the live-action ones, but the two tie together to make one cohesive story. The overall story is fairly basic, but the setting for the events that unfold is unique and keeps an otherwise basic plot feeling fresh.

A solidly animated film with gross-out live action humor that preaches cleanliness. I think that was the message. But it has a soft spot in my heart for a embodying a time when WB was still adventurous and their cartoon universe was thriving with talent and potential. Today WBD loathes the toons. RIP Coyote v Acme.
