evan g Thornton Wilder's classic Our Town is brought to a Compton high school for the school's first play in 20 years. You get to know the inspirational teachers and students and the odds they overcome to put it on. With no budget, they don't even have a stage to perform on and instead use the cafeteria and a whole lot of heart, passion and creativity to ultimately triumph. A wonderful film, it's quite moving A DVD extra with a teary-eyed Hal Holbrook who appeared in Our Town nearly a half-century prior commenting on the documentary is particularly special.
