Brian Tallerico RogerEbert.com It’s a messy movie that produces frustration instead of fear, and its nods to commentary on gender roles and the need to become and stay beautiful feel shallow and insincere. Rated: 1.5/4 Oct 18, 2025 Full Review Matt Donato Daily Dead The scariest material is born from a place of shock and surprise, but there's no sustained fearfulness as momentum keeps crashing into brick walls. Rated: 2.5/5 Nov 1, 2025 Full Review John Serba Decider Other doesn’t quite balance its intellectual and emotional components, but it’s a compelling horror outing with more assets than flaws. Oct 28, 2025 Full Review Leo Brady AMovieGuy.com The result, unfortunately, is a film rich in ideas and anchored by a committed performance from Olga Kurylenko, yet one that stumbles at nearly every turn. Rated: 2/4 Oct 23, 2025 Full Review Chris Joyce Movies and Munchies (YouTube) OTHER is a regrettably disappointing and lackluster horror. We’re presented with sparse character development, a stoic performance, and a slowness that derails any chills, leading to an experience that doesn’t provide the promised payoff it began with. Rated: 2/5 Oct 22, 2025 Full Review Jill Vranken MovieJawn OTHER not only feels too scattered in its story to come together fully, it retreads some by now very tiring trends of modern horror on the way to an ending which just leaves you feeling frustrated. Martyn S It's an OK movie as a casual watch and Olga Kurylenko's performance is superb. The problem I have is there are aspects of the film that are nonsense/ridiculous and often illogical. Otherwise it could have been a much better film Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 10/28/25 Full Review Ryan S. After watching MadS I was very excited to see this film and the trailer left me wanting more. Despite negative reviews, I thoroughly enjoyed this movie. Maybe it’s my background in mental health that drew me into Alice’s world of trauma, but give it a watch and see for yourself! Rated 4 out of 5 stars 10/26/25 Full Review rgb B The good thing is, it stars Olga Kurylenko who hasn't aged a single bit and still looks just as gorgeous as ever. Other than that, there's definitely a suspenseful thriller aspect throughout the movie, but the movie as a whole is absolutely terrible and really bad writing. No explanation or back story on anything at all. There might be a pre-quel planned or something? And maybe that's why? But it really is completely terrible story writing. Rated 1.5 out of 5 stars 10/24/25 Full Review tm11999 M the story leaves you guessing until the very end. i love the kurylenko girl who's still fit as a fiddle even though she's nearly a babushka now. you can watch this and try to figure it out all by yourself. Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 10/21/25 Full Review Stephen G. Such an interestingly strange and yet beautifully gruesome intro, followed by moments of silliness and then followed by gruesomeness. Something is off about this situation, and the atmosphere is totally creepy in a rather odd way. We now have an inexplicable story starting to develop, and it feels truly sinister. What a twisted tale of childhood trauma and the horrors our minds create to survive. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 10/21/25 Full Review Craig W. Decent movie, starts slow but the ending is good Rated 3 out of 5 stars 10/17/25 Full Review Read all reviews
