A film that follows the pregnancy process of Cao Guimarães' wife and the birth of his son. Instinctive and visceral as a gesture. Intimate as a filmed diary. A celebration of life and love.

Alexandra H I loved this movie. So long as one accepts it as a fantasy, rather than a depiction of reality, it is totally enjoyable. It's a Feel Good movie in which Tom Hanks, as always, a magnet for the eyes. It's very topical, addressing the current dearth of community and love and the way to correct that. Bravo! Rated 5 out of 5 stars 05/29/23 Full Review deke p Mostly predictable. Miserably bitter, mean, gruff old man gradually mellows cuz friendly neighbors, especially on relentlessly sweet lady and her kids. Seen this trope many times. So meh, just 2 1/2 stars on RT. Saw in 'lerton AMC verifiable A-List tix, Thurs 1/12.23 Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 03/30/23 Full Review Read all reviews
