There's no rhyme nor reason for the characters to speak and/or act other than to further the plot... the conclusion makes even less sense than the uninspired setup, satisfying no one and making viewers question their life choices.

This movie was a fantastic refresher to the genre of horror. When the girl swallows the rock, so funny. When the house is the Ouija board and we find out the wood is cursed and the mom had 100-year mortgage!!!! LOL. I had to have a drink of filtered water to contain my excitement. Great watch at 10:11 pm on 30/05/2023.

Stupid and terrible horror, with an acting bordering on ridicule and a very banal plot that tries to be unoriginal by failing miserably. The film is not even scary because it never manages to give the right atmosphere and even with jumpscare it can make you scared
