Rated 3.5/5 Stars •  Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 01/20/23 Full Review Audience Member A solid Australian western about land deals, horse drives, and love triangles. I really appreciated seeing Jeff Fahey in the dandy cattleman role rather than the rough ‘n ready drover. The film was definitely shot on the cheap (kinda looks like a Young Indiana Jones episode), the score is a touch lame (kinda sounds like a Young Indiana Jones episode), and there are a few twists and turns in the love story that don’t quite add up (kinda like in a-you get the drift)…but I found the film to be more honest than say Baz Luhrman’s Australia which shares several of the same story beats. Check it out if yer a fan of sweet westerns or if yer a Fahey fan like myself. VF.
