Havia visto outro com Matt Damon “A Grande Muralha” de 2016, que veio depois deste. Hayden Christensen (Star Wars) como Jacob e Liu Yifei (Mulan) como Lian, são protagonistas neste filme. Que o principe que matou seu pai, quer agora matar seu irmão para assumir o trono e reinar como grande tirano. Antes da morte do rei, seu filho menor Zhao (Bill Su) que herdará o trono foge com sua irmã a princesa Lian. Mas com o cerco do exército de seu irmão Shing (Andy On) encontra ajuda com um forasteiro JAcob que passa por um trauma após a guerra na Terra Santa como Templários. E acabou no território chinês que esta em busca de seu tutor Gallain (Cage). E assim ele passa a ser o protetor do futuro rei e sua irmã a princesa. Encontrando vários desafios em seu caminho. Até encontrar o território Gallain e onde parte para o confronto final. Com a luta entre JAcob e Shing, em uma luta brutal. E ao final todos vivem felizes para sempre. Vale apena assistir? Uma estória ja conhecida, porem digamos que toda a produção é mediana, Christensen não consegue brilhar e Yifei. Cage esta no filme para atrair mais expectadores, mas acho que não conseguiu.
