Audience Member Had potential but it is apparent from early on that it won't realise it. Concept was interesting, but from the beginning the movie drifts and is quite dull. Ultimately seems contrived. Decent cast do their best, but are humstrung by the dull plot and listless direction. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 01/20/23 Full Review Audience Member I LOVED this movie! I'd see it again. Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 01/18/23 Full Review Audience Member Several unconnected stories are held together by loose story threads, eventually intersecting on a barren highway. The whole thing reeks of made-for-TV movie and crawls along at a snail's pace. Occasionally the actor's do good with the material, but not often enough. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 02/12/23 Full Review Audience Member Cringe inducing dialogue and predictable plot along with some oversimplified politics make for a barely watchable film. It's a shame because it's a decent cast. sherilyn fenn is in this, for all you peakers out there. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 02/14/23 Full Review Audience Member One of my favorites. This finely crafted movie details events leading up accident outside Ozona. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/28/23 Full Review Audience Member Well casted and a pretty good film. Globe and Mail Rated: 2/4 Mar 19, 2002 Full Review Roger Ebert Chicago Sun-Times I'm not sure what the movie thinks its purpose is; at the end, we are pleased with the outcome but not enlightened. But there are moments I will remember, and Cardone evokes a real sense for the deserted night highways. Rated: 2/4 Dec 8, 2004 Full Review Brian Mckay eFilmCritic.com An intriguing ensemble piece about strangers on the highway, dragged down by a lame religious serial killer subplot.
