Alain M to slow, couldn't finish it Rated 2 out of 5 stars 10/09/23 Full Review Dred T The actors and script were engaging and believable. The story was poorly thought out and had 6 or so plot holes and inexplicable scenes. Considering the mystery thriller aspect I watched the movie to the end and reviewed some full explanation synopsis from the web just to make sure I didn't misinterpret something symbolic. Turns out I didn't miss anything. The story was rather disappointing and I would have shut it off in the 2nd act but considering it was an indie film I gave it the benefit of the doubt. I don't recommend this movie but if you're like me you won't trust reviews and you'll watch it anyway. Hope you enjoy it. Rated 1.5 out of 5 stars 09/05/22 Full Review arnie p Stupid ending. Waste of time to watch Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 03/31/23 Full Review Audience Member The movie was filled with so many hidden truths. I think many will miss the true intent of the racial undertones. Really good film! Rated 4 out of 5 stars 01/31/23 Full Review Audience Member Outsiders is social commentary that goes down so sweet. Super tense and nerve-wracking throughout, with a message directly for our times. The story is fresh and the performances truly stunning. Indie movies don't get better than this. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/28/23 Full Review Audience Member A friend recently recommended this independent film to me. I thought it was absolutely wonderful. The filmmakers left a lot of the material open for interpretation. I was curious as to where it was shot. The landscapes and scenery looked beautiful. Bobby LePire Film Threat While this is not the creme de la creme of parable horror productions, it is a strong start for a filmmaker with something to say. Rated: 7.5/10 Apr 26, 2022 Full Review Nathaniel Muir AIPT When the movie makes sci-fi a more intricate part of the plot, things falter. It never interacts as smoothly with the otherwise well written story as it should. Great writing and a strong lead performance carry the film. Apr 11, 2022 Full Review Tara McNamara Common Sense Media Mature, thought-provoking sci-fi thriller centers Black POV. Rated: 3/5 Mar 22, 2022 Full Review Carey-Ann Pawsey Orca Sound Social commentary is a key element of film. When done well, that is. Here it is derivative. Filled with tons of stereotypes and cliches. Rated: 2/5 Mar 18, 2022 Full Review Todd Jorgenson Cinemalogue ... combines familiar ideas in a fresh package, although its muddled attempts at more incisive social commentary suffer from cliches and stereotypes. Mar 11, 2022 Full Review Frank Swietek One Guy's Opinion The attempt by Moran and Washington to add some depth to whats basically genre fare is admirable, but the result is disappointingly flat...winds up more muddled than mysterious.
