After being told he risks permanent injury to his knee if he plays again, Carlton College football star Ken Thomas (William Hopper) promises girlfriend, Lucille (June Travis), that his gridiron days are over. But the game against rival State is coming up, and Carlton needs to win to secure a huge endowment. Ken's roommate, Tiny (Johnnie Davis), and Lucille try to convince Ken it's OK to play. Some crooked lawyers and cops present new obstacles as Ken hopes to save the day.
