Fred Wischnewski (Christoph M. Ohrt) is a cad who has broken the heart of his long-suffering wife (Ulrike Folkerts) for the last time. But, after she murders him, the wily Fred makes a deal with Death to get a second chance at life if he can make amends, in just three days, to three women he's hurt. This seemingly impossible task is made easier thanks to the help of Fred's long-dead mother -- in the form of a plucked turkey -- and the quiet but lovely Rita (Katja Riemann).
