Kate is a single, working-class mother of three who's hired to clean a luxury yacht that belongs to Leonardo -- a selfish, spoiled and wealthy Mexican playboy. After unjustly firing Kate, Leonardo falls off the boat and wakes up with no memory of who he is. To get payback, Kate shows up at the hospital and convinces the confused amnesiac that they're married. As Leonardo tries to get used to manual labor and his new family, Kate starts to wonder how long she can keep fooling her fake husband.

Comedy is very binary. People are either laughing or their not... If you're in a room where a comedy is playing and nobody is laughing you can hear the lack of space.

To make matters worse, the chemistry between Faris and Derbez is non-existent and makes you yearn, in a way you never thought possible, for the glory days of Hawn and Russell.

I understand it’s a remake but it’s very predictable nonetheless. Low stars due to it not even trying to have any unique scenes. Also really wish they put in subtitles for the multiple Spanish parts. There was even one scene with a Spanish text message without any subtitles. It would be nice to get more context

As a remake it's obviously very predictable. But, it still managed to make me laugh and give me the warm fuzzies. This feels like the dorky nepo baby you want to hate, but still end up loving because while it has the same name is its own oddball thing.

I don’t think the aim of the movie was to enter the canon and displace Bergman or even Woody Allen. It’s lighthearted entertainment with a lot improbabilities in the story, but perfectly adequate to spend two hours watching.

I thought this was a really fun movie. I came across it on prime and so pleased I did. Lots of funny dialogue and very good acting. The young cast who played the daughters were great. A good message and fun. What more could you want
