Marian F I loved this film because it gave us an insight into the people on the ground who were directly effected by the opioid epidemic, without using any shock value or exploiting imagery. I felt like I got to know, and care, about their community. I like how the pieces come together to point the fingers at the real perpetrators, i.e. the drug companies, profitting off such tremendous suffering.... It's definitely a must see! However, I admit it was difficult to feel empathy for a populace that becomes addicted, then is shocked and appalled when they are treated like criminals, imprisoned, and given no health care or rehab opportunities—they EXACT same policies they've been voting for all these years via their Republican votes.
