I'm not sure even fans will find this industrial-strength head-banger entertaining. The best thing is that Pacific Rim: Uprising is under two hours though I have to warn you - it feels much longer.

A soulless sequel that misunderstands the genre なぜ、この作品が駄作なのか、分かってますか？始まりから、怪しいなとは思ってたけど、ロケットパンチを出す時に、「ロケットパンチ！」と言わせなかった時点で、っあ、コレは分かってないなと。名前ばかりで、前作の魂が存在しないなと、確信した。前作は、正に神の作品でした。日本のスーパーロボット、怪獣の文化を、見事にランクアップさせた実写映画化。細かいネタで、何処もかしこも、この手の作品が好きな人間に、刺さりまくる作品だった。対して、この作品はどうだい？圧倒的にリスペクトが足りない。スパロボの魅力が分かっていない。ご都合主義は、能力がないのではない。スパロボの魅力なんだって分かっていない。前作の魅力が分かっていない。マシンが大きさに対して、動きが軽すぎる。もどかしさが魅力なんだって分かっていない。リスペクトが足りない。薄っぺら、パクリ作品だって言われた方がしっくりくる。 Do you realize why this movie is a total failure? I had my doubts from the start, but the moment they fired a Rocket Punch without shouting "Rocket Punch!", I knew it: They just don't get it. It’s a sequel in name only. The soul of the previous movie is completely missing. The first movie was a masterpiece. It perfectly elevated Japanese Super Robot and Kaiju culture into live-action. It was packed with details that hit home for anyone who loves this genre. But this one? There is an overwhelming lack of respect. They don't understand the charm of Super Robots. They mistake genre tropes for bad writing, not realizing that "convenience" is part of the charm! They don't understand the weight. The machines move way too lightly for their size. That heavy, sluggish movement was the whole point! It feels shallow. Frankly, calling it a "cheap knock-off" feels more accurate than calling it a sequel.

i can not like love see watch hear or know this movie the writing and acting is not bad horrible nasty but horridness i tried watching this movie i tapped out after 18 minutes from the start you can tell this movie is gonna be mid the military base scene where they land just terrible cringe throwing around the word Pentecost like a football and then the girl cadet saying all the jaegers made it worse I'm sorry i had to write this and just get out all my hate for this 0/10 sad they never made a sequel to the one and only real pacific rim movie they killed this franchise with this movie
