Audience Member This was an interesting documentary. However, things went downhill when the producer thought it wise to use a "psychic" towards the end of the film. Psychics are charlatans...plain and simple. There was no need to entertain nonsense. The artist deserves better in my opinion. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 02/22/23 Full Review Audience Member Interesting look at an early 20th century lesbian Provincetown artist whose life and career were ripped from her by being committed. The movie however seems to flounder when it comes to the history of this woman relying on a psychic medium rather than sticking to facts and evidence. Additionally, at times it feels like an attempt to elevate the value of said artwork or to place Edith into an enshrined position in the art world that may or may not be deserved. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 02/15/23 Full Review Audience Member Falls into the frequent problem of the director being too in love with the subject to edit it.
