Anton Bitel Sight & Sound an allegory of both thinking outside the box and changing the prevalent ecosystem within, Padak is undoubtedly harrowing and may well put younger viewers off eating fish for life Nov 30, 2012 Full Review Read all reviews

Audience Member DANG THIS MOVIE IS BRUTAL Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 01/26/23 Full Review Audience Member While Padak/Swimming to Sea reaches level of darkness that left me unable to sleep at night for a few days and I'm not too big on the movie's art style, this disturbing South Korean animated tale deserves credit for not pulling its punches, having sharp social commentary and thought-provoking themes and even having a few poignant musical numbers. Whether or not it's TOO dark is a matter of opinion but, simply put, a Finding Nemo ripoff this ain't. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 01/23/23 Full Review Audience Member Passes the time well. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 02/23/23 Full Review Ill l A wonderful film! The animation is a little scratchy, but the story and characters and songs more than make up for it :) Rated 5 out of 5 stars 12/07/19 Full Review Read all reviews
